Using Tombola Bingo £5 Bonus Codes
Using Tombola Bingo codes is very easy. Once you find a code, either online or in a newspaper, you simply input it into the Bonus Code field at the site’s cashier.
Of course, you’ll have to register as a member first. This process is quick, as all you need to do is enter your name, date of birth and password. Then, you’ll be prompted to make your first deposit – which isn’t necessary, because you’ve got your free code!
It’s important that you have a number of codes at your disposal. Sometimes, the code you enter will be invalid, expired or already used by another player. So, be sure to copy down a couple of codes that you can try out.
The bonus will then be credited to your account immediately and you’ll be able to get playing. Everything you win is yours to keep and you won’t be tied down with any wagering requirements
How Bingo Bonuses Usually Work
Pretty much every online bingo site provides players with bonuses upon signing up, but Tombola Bingo’s stand out due to how generous they really are. In most cases, you’re provided with a bonus that has wagering requirement attached to it, and the Tombola free fiver codes do away with that.
Generally, a wagering requirement stipulates how many times over you have to bet the amount of your bonus before it can be withdrawn. At online bingo sites, the standard wagering requirement is 4x. So, you have to bet your bonus amount four times over before you can withdraw it.
As an example, let’s say you deposited £10 and received a 100% bonus worth £10. With the 4x wagering requirement, you would have to spend £40 on bingo tickets before you would be able to withdraw that original £10.
£40 may not sound like much but in the context of online bingo, it can take quite a while to clear that amount. Bingo tickets start at just 5p, so you’d have to play in plenty of games before your bonus is clear. If you really want to avoid this hassle, which many people clearly do, then there is an emerging set of bingo sites with no wagering requirements which you can check out in our linked guide.
Another thing that sets Tombola Bingo bonuses apart from others is that no deposit is required. In many cases, whether it’s a welcome bonus or a bonus for existing players, you have to make a deposit in order to be eligible. Then, the site will match your deposit by their stated percentage, which can be anywhere from 50% to 300%.
Since no deposits are required at Tombola Bingo, you’re not tying yourself down to the site. Instead, you can play as much or as little as you want. No commitment is required, so you can come and go as you please!

How To Play Paper Bingo
Tombola's recent additions to the bingo world have all been incredibly stylish - and Paper is no different. The room background is a multi-layered mountain view that's been crafted from paper. Clouds move along the top of the scene whilst paper trees dominate the foregorund. Notices appear on the end of lollipop sticks. The bingo tickets are strips of paper that fold down when numbers are called and a 'homemade' traffic light counts down to the start of the game. As usual Tombola's attention to detail is impressive.
When you login to Tombola and enter Paper you're offered access to fourteen different rooms that are all related to paper. These are called Wrapping, Tracing, Tissue, Craft, Parchment, Origami and Sand. Each room runs it's own game and players can opt to wager 1p, 2p, 5p, or 10p per ticket. To play a game you simply choose the tickets that you want to buy. Just click on the 'buy' buttons at the foot of the screen to choose your tickets and then confirm your purchase. You can play between 1 and 5 tickets per game.
Jackpot Prizes
Numbers are called as in other versions of bingo, although in the case of Paper they appear via a ticker at the top of the page. The aim of the game is to get a full house by matching all five numbers on one of your tickets. The full house jackpot amount is dependent on the cost of your ticket. If you call house in just 5 calls to win a £500 jackpot whilst there's £100 guaranteed if you call house in 6 calls. This is based on 1p a ticket. These prizes increase with ticket price.
A relaxing soundtrack accompanies game play and the bingo caller's mellow tones reminds us of voice over actors from 70s children's TV. Just before eyes down you're told to 'settle in it's about to begin' followed by 'are you sitting comfortably.' In fact we do get a feeling that old style 70s children's TV shows may well have influenced the design of Paper. Take a look and let us know what you think?
Our Verdict
Everytime Tombola release a new game we wonder where they go next. The Machine, which is still the most impressive version of bingo online, was always going to be a tough act to follow. However Paper is another worthy addition to the impressive Tombola line-up. The graphics and design are just incredible and really make imagery on other platforms look dated. We love the theme too and the biggest plus point is that Tombola bingo players can now play for just 1p a ticket.
That said, whilst the soundtrack and caller take us back to childhood TV shows it is a bit soporific. We didn't know whether to go for a nap or try and find episodes of Bagpuss on Youtube. However this relaxing tune and bingo caller have probably been chosen to detract away from the fact that Paper is a speed bingo game. Overall this is another brilliant game from Tombola. We look forward to see what they have next to offer.
